About Space Valley

SpaceValley

Extending from the southern border of New Mexico, near Spaceport America and White Sands Missile Range, to the northern part of the state, past the Los Alamos National Laboratory, Space Valley encompasses a diverse concentration of resources rooted in the region’s rich history as a center for scientific breakthroughs and discovery.

These resources, driven by a talented and growing workforce, have established the foundation for the research, development, testing, engineering, and manufacturing capabilities happening today in Space Valley’s dynamic space and aerospace ecosystems.

The center of these ecosystems lies at Kirtland Air Force Base in Albuquerque, New Mexico, home to the U.S. Space Force’s Space Rapid Capabilities Office, the Air Force Research Laboratory’s Space Vehicles and Directed Energy Directorates, and MaxQ@Kirtland.
